5th Grade Math Acceleration Option
Middle School Math for 5th Graders Overview
Middle School Math for 5th Graders is a program that allows 5th-grade students to enroll in the A2 Virtual+ Middle School Math Acceleration Program. This program allows students to take Online Math 6 in place of Math 5 taught in thier traditional school building. Students completing Online Math 6 earn credit for Math 6 and will be ready for Math 7 in 6th Grade.
Students must meet specific entrance criteria to join this program as a 5th grader.
Students who do not meet the requirements can join as sixth graders. There are no requirements for 6th-grade students to join the Middle School Acceleration Program. Students who join in 6th grade can complete Math 6 and Math 7 in one school year.
