A2Virtual+ Extension Requests

A2Virtual+ two-week extension requests are available for eligible students according to the deadlines below for the 2025–26 school year.

To be considered for an extension, all of the following conditions must be met:

The student has earned between 45%–59% of the total points or completed between 45%–59% of the total activities.
The student has logged in and actively engaged in the course by completing activities regularly throughout the term (a regular basis means a minimum of 5 hours per week, every week).
5th-grade students taking Math Acceleration are not eligible for an extension.
Extensions are not granted for middle school level courses; they are only available for high school level courses earning high school credit.
If the student is eligible based on the above criteria, the parent/guardian or student should complete the form linked below. After submitting the form, a copy of the completed request and a work plan will be emailed to the student.
The student must submit the completed Extension Completion Plan to their AAPS building liaison/instructor by the extension deadline for the term.

Students who complete work during an approved extension can earn a maximum final grade of 90%.
Students may apply for a maximum of two extensions.
The extension period lasts for two consecutive weeks, and any extended classes must be worked on concurrently.
