Students can drop a course until the published drop (add/drop) date for each term.  Once the date has passed, the student must complete the course and the earned grade will be recorded.  The date for the add/drop period cannot be adjusted due to many reasons including count day and technical requirements.  The dates can be found on the proctoring and events calendar.   (Refer to the calendar for summer term dates which are recorded after May 1st.)

After the Drop Deadline, students can apply for a medical withdrawal.  Information on the Withdrawal Policy can be found here.
