High School Math Middle School Science

I came to Ann Arbor as a Wolverine back in 1996 and have since made it my permanent home.

I graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science in General Biology. After working with the Department of Agriculture and doing two years of AmeriCorps service, I returned to the University of Michigan for a Masters Degree in Education.

My first teaching position began in a juvenile detention facility for Detroit Public Schools and I joined the Ann Arbor Huron High School Science Department as a Lab Rat in 2009 to 2018. For the past 3 years I have taught biology at Pioneer. I started as a part time staff with A2 Virtual+ Academy back in 2012 and continue to spend as much time there as possible.
